LIQUIDATION INFO & LINGO

Some Brands will not allow their merchandise to be returned to the store shelf once it has been sold.  Those returns, become part of Truckload Merchandise.  In a Truckload, there is a mix of what you might find, we listed below.

Sometimes there are boxes/packages that have:

- never been opened

- no box/package, appears unused

- been opened, but item shows no use

- been opened and shows slight use

- has been used

Store Stock generally consists of first quality merchandise that has exceeded store aging standard and must be removed from the selling floor to accommodate new merchandise.  Store Stock lots can contain a small percentage of distressed merchandise generally shopworn from being on the sales floor.  Many Store Stock items are in original unopened packaging.  Stores do not return goods at the same time, Store Stock lots generally contain a wide assortment of merchandise.

Seasonal Overstock merchandise consists of first quality store floor overstock.  An example of this is the Holiday Auctions (with Christmas Trees, Decorations and Home Goods)

Customer Returns merchandise consists of items that were previously purchased and returned.  The condition and the mix of goods will vary within any given lot.  The condition will range from

“almost first quality” (i.e., returned by a customer due to preference or out-of-package) to “slightly distressed” (e.g., slightly used).   We do our best to provide accurate descriptions of all items. 

Occasionally there are other types of product that become available for auction that do not fall within our more usual categories.  These are referred to as “Special Offerings,” and can include many different items.

It's important to remember auctions are not retail stores, Etsy or E-bay.  Auctions are held by licensed Auctioneers, the terms and conditions of the auction platform govern the contract and it is legally binding.   So please read our general terms & conditions page carefully.  Please note:  within the actual auction, the T&C maybe adjusted to fit the particular auction.  You will want to read those as well when you register to bid.
